archivemail software package provides archive and compress or delete your old email, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install archivemail
archivemail is installed in your system.
Make ensure the archivemail package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep archivemail *
You will get with archivemail package name, version, architecture and description in a table
